About the Role:
We are seeking a recent graduate with a passion for health, safety and environment to join our team as an Graduate Health, Safety and Environment Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in occupational safety, health and environment while working in a dynamic team.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Manager to ensure the provision of a safe and productive work environment at our Airport site. You will assist in maintaining and updating our health & safety policy, safety statement, and environmental compliance programme.
You will also be responsible for monitoring and enforcing the implementation of our Company's safety management system (SMS), including hazard identification and risk assessment. Additionally, you will manage all facilities ensuring all health & safety issues are flagged promptly.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records related to workplace injuries or illnesses;
* Identify hazards within assigned areas of responsibility;
* Instruct employees on relevant policies/procedures regarding WHS responsibilities/duties;
Total Work Hours: 37 hours per week
