Drainage Engineer Location: Meath Salary: €38,000€48,000 DOE Job Type: Full-time We are hiring a Drainage Engineer to join our environmental engineering team in Duleek.
This role is ideal for someone with a civil or environmental engineering background who wants hands-on experience in drainage design, surveying, and flood risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities Assist with Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) Support topographical surveying and data collection Work on surface water and foul water drainage design Contribute to coastal erosion assessments and reporting Prepare reports, drawings, and technical documentation Work on a wide range of environmental engineering projects Carry out occasional site visits and fieldwork Skills & Experience (Desirable) Proficient in Auto CAD Experience with Civil 3 D Knowledge of Su DS, hydrology, and drainage design principles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and technical writing ability Qualifications Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar related discipline Full drivers licence 13 years experience preferred, but not essential Working Arrangements Primarily office-based in Duleek, Co.
