Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator (Loader) to join our team in Kingscourt. This role plays a key part in our operations and requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Safely operate the forklift to load, unload, move and stack precast concrete products
* Load precast products onto trailers in accordance with load plans, weight limits, and securing requirements
* Communicate effectively with production staff, supervisors, drivers and the transport team
* Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage and maintain product quality
* Operating machinery and equipment such as forklifts (Full training will be provided).
* Cleaning work areas, tools, and equipment after use to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
* Strictly adhere to all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
* Forklift certification preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate
* Previous experience in loading or handling heavy materials, preferably precast concrete, is highly desirable.
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team.
* Requires standing, lifting, and operating heavy machinery for extended periods.
