About the Position
Black Shamrock, part of Virtuos, is expanding and seeks an Executive Producer to oversee a large project with multiple mandates across different Virtuos studios. The project spans technical, creative, and production challenges. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and organization skills, strong knowledge of AAA game development and best practices in production.
Responsibilities

Lead a large project across multiple studios and disciplines and oversee a team of producers assigned to this project.
Be a key leader and contributor to the development team, identifying and resolving issues across studios and between Virtuos and the client.
Develop trust and secure buy‑in from multiple teams, including key client members, development and business teams.
Manage production to ensure deliverables match client expectations and quality standards.
Oversee milestone content and realistic production schedules in coordination with team leads and management across multiple locations.
Manage change: uphold project scope, control feature creep, ensure delivery in accordance with expectations, and adjust project budget if necessary.
Continuously assess risk and keep the project scope aligned with budget and schedule.
Communicate day‑to‑day matters regarding schedule, budget, change and risk with client and internal stakeholders, making recommendations.
Ensure each Producer on your team works from a tracked schedule and takes ownership of quality and timeliness of their contributions.
Foster excellent communication, positive working relationships and teamwork across all studios and disciplines.
Leverage your position to manage effectively during busy periods, focusing on efficiency, velocity and progress of the project.

Qualifications

Shipped at least two successful AAA games in a production management role.
Highly responsible, self‑directed, detail‑oriented problem solver with a desire to contribute to a creative environment.
Outstanding organization, communication and exceptional management/leadership skills.
Expertise in project management practices and software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Hansoft/Jira and Word.
Working knowledge of SCRUM and Agile practices.
Proven ability to communicate effectively across multiple locations.
Knowledge of technical issues in game development.
Strong interpersonal skills, utilizing both oral and written communication.
Proactive and positive attitude, willing to support the team and project.
Strong leadership skills, able to drive design, art, engineering through the whole development process.
Fluent English language skills.

Preferred

Previous porting experience, preferably to Gen 9.
