Job Description
* To provide day to day Incoming Inspection of raw material, take care of In process Inspection during assembly and Final Inspection of finished product expertise including customer documentation.
* To complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRS) and lot inspection activities.
* To support our suppliers in helping us deliver quality product to our internal customers, through product & process investigations & evaluations.
Major Contributing Activities:
* Manufacturing of measurement instrumentation is a challenging, highly regulated business with low volumes and integration of diverse technologies and complex supply chains.
* Assess Supplier capability to meet quality requirements to ensure supplier processes are an effective fit with InnaLabs requirements.
* Check specification and tolerances when requested from either production or suppliers and complete the associated dispositions.
* Participate in design changes of component and assemblies to enhance product and reduce operator error
Key Competencies:
* Competent in the ability to learn new tasks within a reasonable timeframe.
* Assemble to specifications particularly with small parts to be handled with care.
* Become competent in the use of quality and material systems to ensure that all quality data in relation to movement, failure, non-conformance of product and inventory accuracy is timely and accurately recorded/maintained.
* Perform duties in compliance with, and actively participate in the review and implementation of, all relevant policies and procedures i.e. ISO, ESD, Cleanroom protocols, SAP, etc.
* Adhere to a Lean Culture within the Department and ensure all Lean initiatives are supported as required.
* Comply with all Company policies including Housekeeping, Environmental, Health & Safety, Time & Attendance and proper on-the-job conduct.
* Ability to work within a clean room environment.
* Manage inventory control within the work area.
* Excellent Communication skills both oral and written – Advanced
Experience & Qualifications
* Some previous experience in manufacturing operation an advantage.
* Ability to demonstrate a high degree of manual dexterity.
* A self-starter who can manage workloads with minimum supervision
* The ability to communicate effectively with others and establish good relationships with co-workers.
* The ability to support the team's goals by willingly taking on new assignments and helping solve problems associated with changes required.
* Ability to communicate, including reading and writing, effectively through the English language.
* Basic PC skills.
* Demonstrate ability to learn.
