Overview
CFO opportunity for a first-rate finance executive with experience operating at CFO or Finance Director level within a high-volume, low-margin, fast-paced scaling, multi-site business. As a key member of the SLT, the CFO will help drive profitable growth and expansion. Reporting directly to the CEO, key aspects of the role will involve:
* Strategic Growth Management & Decision Support
* Treasury & Cash Management in a working capital–intensive environment
* Productivity, Performance Management and FP&A – working closely with the SMT to improve productivity, maintain margin performance and profitability
* Financial & Management Reporting & Compliance – ensuring the finance team operates to high professional standards and adds value through management reporting, KPIs, insights and trends
* Corporate Finance and M&A – growth has been achieved organically and recently with several acquisitions; supporting the CEO with financing growth, due diligence and integration
* Board reporting and interaction as a Board member
* IT leadership in upcoming significant investments in systems
* Leadership of the finance organisation to add value and contribute to profitable growth
Candidate Background
Ideal candidate will have the following background:
* Qualified Accountant, with CFO or Finance Director level experience within a relatively large, scaling multi-location, complex business generating revenues around €100m
* Experience in a multi-transactional, high-volume, low-margin environment such as Logistics, Sales & Distribution, or Supply Chain
* Strong commercial acumen with experience in strategic planning and driving strategy execution, working with a SLT to meet growth targets while improving margins
* Forecasting and treasury management skills (FX, cash management, multi-currency)
* M&A and fundraising/financing experience is beneficial
* Systems savvy
