What Youll Do Produce accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management accounts and weekly cash flow forecasts.
Support the preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts.
Manage and coordinate core finance functions: General Ledger, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Fixed Asset Register, and all accounting data.
Prepare VAT returns and assist with other statutory tax returns.
Lead the year-end audit process, liaising directly with external auditors.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis, including costing, product pricing, and performance insights for directors and senior managers.
Support stock valuations, reconciliations, and month-end journals (prepayments and accruals).
Oversee supplier payments, cash collection, and ensure financial records are correct and up to date.
Resolve invoice disputes and handle both internal and external finance queries.
Continuously review financial processes, identifying and implementing efficiency improvements.
Contribute to general office administration as needed.
About You ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified (or equivalent experience).
Proven industry experience, ideally within manufacturing and costing.
Strong experience with accounting systems such as Microsoft Navision or Sage.
Excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
Highly organised, target-driven, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
Proficient in IT with advanced Excel capability.
