Role
Quality Control (QC) Analyst - BV is responsible for QC testing of products and raw materials in accordance with relevant procedures, reviewing results to provide free-to-fill status, system release, and generation of COAs in a timely manner.
This position is a 2 year contract and reports to the QC Manager/Team Lead. It is part of the Quality Department located in the countryside just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O’Callaghan Mills, Co. Clare and will be an onsite position.
Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 4pm to Midnight; Friday 3pm to 10pm.
Important: The successful candidate will be required to handle infectious materials. Please ensure you are comfortable with this responsibility before applying.
Responsibilities
Perform Quality Control testing of products and raw materials in line with approved procedures, reviewing and approving results to support timely status release, system release, and the generation of Certificates of Analysis (CoAs).
Review and release Batch History Records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to quality standards.
Generate, review, and report analytical data, including the investigation and follow‑up of Out of Specification (OOS) results, and the preparation of Non‑Conformance (NC) reports or deviation documentation, as required.
Participate in a rotation of laboratory support duties, including equipment calibration, temperature monitoring, laboratory maintenance programmes, management of consumable stocks, housekeeping activities, and autoclave waste management.
Essential Requirements
Level 8 degree (Science or relevant technical degree is desirable)
Good working knowledge of GMP & Quality & Safety Standards
Familiarity with laboratory equipment
Excellent record keeping and high accuracy and attention to detail
Nice to have
Experience with laboratory equipment such as analytical balances, pH meters, and pipettes
GMP & Quality & Safety standards experience
