Accenture has an exciting opportunity for a people-oriented Sales Team Lead to guide, mentor, develop and inspire an incredible team of multilingual Agency Account & Partner Managers within Pinterest’s digital marketing environment. You will have the opportunity to drive measurable outcomes for our client Pinterest focused on our Strategic Agency Segment. Our client’s ad solutions leverage our company’s innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences as they use our clients’ cutting-edge social media platform. This role involves coaching and developing a world-class team that takes pride in creating delightful customer experiences through focused sales plays and account management in a fun and enriching work environment. In addition to leading a team, this role will also be challenged with developing programs to scale Pinterest’s operations, solve customer problems upstream, and grow the client’s revenues by delivering a world-class customer sales experience to millions of customers. You will mentor and coach a team of Agency Account & Partner Managers to exceed customers’ expectations. You will proactively identify sales opportunities and improve team workflows. Success in this position requires exceptional people coaching and account management skills; analytical problem solving; a willingness to experiment; the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment; and a passion for helping clients and customers achieve results through revenue.
Responsibilities
* Lead through demonstration, this is a high profile client facing role and as such you will need a proven ability to engage clients, and demonstrate high levels of sales acumen, while coaching your team to raise the bar.
* Lead a high performing team of Agency Account & Partner Managers focused on supporting and scaling Strategic agencies and their advertisers. Manage KPIs, ensure deliverables are exceeded and revenue targets are achieved.
* Identify strategic areas of opportunity to drive increased productivity and success.
* Represent the Pinterest Agency business in client facing settings.
* Deputizes for the Strategic Business Manager in their absence (PTO etc).
* Develop, coach and manage your team to ensure operational excellence.
* Identification of top talent and hiring in the interview process to build out and maintain the highest standards of Agency Account Managers & Partner Managers.
* The ability to motivate and inspire your team in a goal and results orientated way by driving optimum individual and team performance.
* Day to day team management: Weekly 1:1’s, Performance management, people management, staff resourcing, coaching, forecasting & reporting.
* Provides leadership, support and development to members of the team, building on the strengths of the team members.
* Ensure that all client SLA targets are met, including aspects of: Meeting Client SLA’s, Performance Management, People Management, Transition Management, Other key roles (Recruitment, Quality Management, Policy communication etc.).
Key Qualifications
* Ideally, proven experience in a team leadership role of a Sales team focused on Strategic Agencies - Holding companies & Large Independents.
* Proven experience working with or at Agencies with a strong understanding of the agency landscape within digital marketing.
* Extensive experience as a Sales Manager/Team Lead or in similar role, with a successful track record of building and managing strong teams and large Agency/Advertisers.
* An artful relationship builder with an ability to nurture & drive mutually beneficial outcomes with both clients & internal stakeholders.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable in a client facing environment.
* Experience recruiting and hiring candidates for a high-performance agency account management sales team.
* CRM experience or comparable Salesforce automation tool.
