Education Elephant is a leading provider of expert educational assessments, resources, online training and support for schools, assessors and students throughout Ireland and the UK. Established in 2016 and based in Dun Laoghaire we support schools and healthcare professionals with a wide range of assessment tools and over 50 educational training courses developed by a team of educational psychologists.We are currently recruiting a full-time sales professional to join our team, with the objective of developing new business and increasing sales within our existing client base of schools and colleges. This will be an office-based role initially, and after an induction period, it will become an internal/external sales position with Hybrid working options.Job ResponsibilitiesTo upsell and cross-sell our range of educational assessment tools to our existing customer base of schools and colleges in Ireland and UK.Develop and grow new business within the educational sector through pro-active sales activity.Hit or exceed an activity target of outbound sales calls and live or virtual sales presentations on a weekly basis.Report and record all sales activity on our contact management system on an on-going basis.Attend any trade conferences or exhibitions that take place in Ireland or the UK on request.Report all sales activities and results to management on a monthly basis through accurate reporting and performance reviews.Skills andExperience RequiredAt least two years of sales or marketing experience, ideally working within the educational sector in Ireland and/or the UK.Experience working in school environments is desirable but not essential; experience within the educational sector is essential.Proven ability in developing new business and account management experience is a must.Good working knowledge of CRM and standard software packages, including PowerPoint.Excellent personal organisation skills and an ability to show initiative within the role.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with presentation skills.Financial Package on offer:Basic Salary of 45K + Commission Package of 20K = On Target Earnings of 65KTravel Expenses – Any travel expenses to visit clients or trade events will be fully covered within Ireland or the UK.If you feel you are the person for this new sales position and want a career with a rapidlygrowing educational provider company, apply now with your current CV as initial interviews willstart shortly.
