Responsibilities:
7. Produce high quality engineering design for a broad range of projects in the water and wastewater sectors
8. Programming of all work deliverables
9. Communication with client daily
10. Undertaking site surveys in the South East region on a regular basis (2/3 days per week)
11. Management of sub-consultants.
12. Carry out work in accordance with company ISO 9001 procedures
13. Assist in the preparation of planning, tender and construction documents

Requirements
Requirements of the Project Manager
15. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a Project Manager role within civil construction works.
16. Education: Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
17. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with Microsoft Project is beneficial.
18. Attributes: Strong interpersonal, communication, and commercial skills.A driven, self-motivated attitude with the confidence to work independently.Team-focused, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels, including external consultants and clients.
19. Other Requirements: A valid driver's license.
Duties of the Project Manager
20. Project Scheduling: Develop overall job schedules with the project team, ensuring milestones are met.Forward-plan for the procurement of resources in advance of job requirements.
21. Production and Cost Monitoring: Ensure daily production activities align with cost expectations.Investigate and address any variances between actual and planned costs.
22. Construction Oversight: Determine and ensure correct construction methods, materials, and quality standards.Review and validate drawing plans, construction methods, and associated procedures.
23. Health & Safety Leadership: Lead the project team in developing and implementing a comprehensive site safety manual.
24. Team Management: Manage the site project and labor teams to ensure efficiency and productivity.
25. Resource Coordination: Oversee the timely delivery of materials, plant, and equipment.
26. Quality Assurance: Develop, review, and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and other quality assurance documentation.
27. Financial Management: Prepare monthly project reports, detailed cost plans, and summaries.Budget and forecast costs to project completion.Manage receipting through accounting software.
28. Contract Management: Oversee contractual obligations, ensuring compliance and effective delivery.
