Occupational Health Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team in delivering a comprehensive range of OHS services across two locations. This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements.

The successful candidate will have strong case management experience, particularly in the area of workplace health surveillance. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Case Management: Develop and implement effective case management plans to support employees' return to work.

* Workplace Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of workplace environments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.

* Health Surveillance Programmes: Design and deliver health surveillance programmes to monitor employees' health and well-being.

* Risk Assessment and Management: Identify and assess risks in the workplace, developing strategies for risk mitigation and management.

* Return-to-Work Management: Support employees in their return to work, ensuring a smooth transition back to the workplace.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Registration: Be registered as a General Nurse with An Bord Altranais.

* Occupational Health Qualification: Hold a recognized Occupational Health qualification or be currently studying towards one.

* Experience: Have strong case management experience, especially in the area of workplace health surveillance.

* Clinical Competencies: Possess clinical competencies in Audiometry, Spirometry, Vision Screening, Phlebotomy, VDU Ergonomics, and Vaccine Administration.
