Field Service Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Specialist to join our team in Cork or Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering advanced maintenance and technical support tailored to customer needs, ensuring reliable system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide on-site maintenance and technical support to ensure optimal system performance.
* Recommend product enhancements and system upgrades to optimize customer operations.
* Resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with Emerson Customer Support and Product Engineering when needed.
* Work closely with a team of skilled service engineers on maintenance activities and service projects.
* Deliver hands-on customer training on the application, operation, and maintenance of Emerson's products.
* Identify new service and product opportunities, contributing to business growth and customer success.
* Support commissioning, start-up, and service promotions in coordination with the sales team.
* Visit customer locations as required, taking part in on-call schedules and verifying all documentation and reports adhere to quality guidelines.
Requirements:
* Hold an Associate-level certification for all services performed on site, and a Professional-level certification in at least one area of expertise.
* Understanding of DCS and PLC systems, such as DeltaV or equivalent experience, coupled with knowledge of cGMP requirements.
* In-depth knowledge and experience of automation and control systems within pharmaceutical process plants, typically with around four years' experience in related areas.
* This role focuses on products and services in customer plants. Travel to these sites and international locations for trainings is required as needed as well as on-call duties.
* Driver's License essential.
