Our client, a leading organisation committed to robust data governance and ethical information management, is seeking an experienced Privacy Analyst to join their growing compliance team in Greystones. This is an exciting opportunity for a data protection professional to contribute to the development and enforcement of privacy frameworks across a dynamic enterprise.
As a Privacy Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the company’s Data Protection Officer (DPO) in ensuring compliance with GDPR and other applicable privacy legislation. You will conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs), review data processing agreements, and engage with internal teams to promote a culture of privacy by design.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain records of processing activities (RoPA)
Assist in managing data subject access requests (DSARs) and breach incident responses
Work collaboratively with legal, IT, and HR departments to ensure alignment on privacy compliance
Provide training and guidance to staff on data protection practices
Carry out regular audits and risk assessments related to personal data usage
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A degree in Law, IT, or a related field
At least 2 years’ experience in a data privacy or compliance role
Strong working knowledge of GDPR and national data protection laws
Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills
Certification such as CIPP/E, CIPM or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
