Training will be provided.Responsibilities for this role will include but will not be limited to the following duties:Processing accounts payable invoices, setting up new accounts and dealing with queries on invoicesLiaise with all departments for invoice approvalsProducing the monthly suppliers' payment runReconciling Supplier statements and the monthly creditor control accountsProcessing school credit card/clever card transactionsManaging Petty Cash and processing cash transactionsBank reconciliationsManage and develop processes to record and reconcile student recoverable items e.g school trips, music tuition, taxis, laundry, schoolbooks etc.Manage and monitor school deposits and advance fee paymentsLiaise with the Prefecting team in relation to financial aspects of co-curricular trips, and other student related banking matters.Undertake any other duties requested by the Finance Manager, which will include cover for reception and other staff members as required.Assisting with VAT computation, processing and filing PSWT and RCT on ROSAssisting with PayrollProvision of information to support the End of Year school auditThe Person : Skills & QualificationsEssential· Strong numerical and analytical skills.· Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.· Good organisational and time-management abilities.· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications.· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Enthusiasm, commitment and a proactive, positive attitude· Reliable and able to handle confidential information with integrity.· Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.DesirableRecently qualified/ Studying towards (or intending to study towards ) a qualification in accounting, finance or business.Previous experience in a finance or accounts environment (including internships or work placements).Familiarity with databases / accounting systemsTerms of Appointment· Application processApplicants should include an Application Form, CV and Personal Letter highlighting their personal qualities and experience for this role.Candidates should submit their application by email to arrive no later than Friday 26th September 2025.· Salary / HoursThis is a part time, permanent role.
