The SDM manages the business in a number of doors assigned by the company. They are responsible for all aspects of running their business including driving retail sales as well as managing and animating a team of benebabes.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop our sales turnover in each store by achieving monthly and yearly targets
* Set up and monitor targets by region and by door, coming up with an action plan when needed
* Regularly visit stores with the Field Supervisors with a focus on flagships
* Ensure that the doors are regularly animated by the FS
* Partner and build strong working relationships with the retailer regional directors and store managers to develop the Benefit staff performance and drive commercial opportunities.
* Come up with engagement activities for both the retailer staff and Benefit staff
Management
* Hire, orient, develop and retain people at all levels
* Negotiate staffing levels based on productivity targets, trends and opportunities when necessary
* Manage and motivate the Benefit team leading by example
* Consistently conduct My Journey So Far (MJSF) evaluation for direct reports to drive performance according to individual improvement needs.
* Follow-up performance of the Beauty consultants.
* Ensure that your direct reports follow all company and store policies, guidelines and procedures (grooming, hygiene…)
Marketing / Merchandising
* Work with HQ to ensure stock levels are accurate and that top skus are always in stock
* Execution of POSMs and Merchandising updates in-store collaborating with Field Supervisor and/or BCs
* Liaise with the Merchandising regional team on specific issues (damages, loss/missing of our furniture)
* Negotiate an animation plan and extra space with the retailer regional manager and store managers
Training
* Build a trained and educated Field Supervisor staff and/or Retail staff through on and off site training
* Identify further training needs through the conducting MJSF evaluation
* Maintain the consistency and standards of the 8 Step Magic Selling Formula
Admin / Others
* T&E reports
* Online booking coordination
* Take care of Merchandising order
* Help with PR events, Training events, events for retailers and for our staff
Profile
Competencies and qualifications 6-8 years retail experience including minimum 3 years management experience Cosmetics experience preferred Proven sales and service track record Proficient computer skills – Word, Excel, Power-point Proficient at reading and analyzing numbers Excellent communication and leadership skills Promote feel good/fun environment for customers and employees Be passionate, fun and tenacious !
