Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Managing Director to develop and deliver current and future KPIs.
Oversee and manage all areas of the business, including growing, packing, processing, sales, and distribution.
Develop, refine, and implement operational processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Identify opportunities to improve existing work practices and drive efficiency.
Develop crop‑growing programmes to meet customer specifications and fulfil contractual commitments.
Provide strong leadership across all teams, ensuring alignment, support, and effective performance throughout all departments.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support sustainable growth and long‑term success.
Represent the business professionally when engaging with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an agricultural, horticultural, vegetable, or farming environment.
Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and business development experience.
Experience in project management or business management.
Strong financial acumen, including setting targets, budgeting, and driving cost‑saving initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Proven leadership ability with a hands‑on, lead‑from‑the‑front approach.
Role Progression & Opportunity
The successful candidate will initially work closely with the Managing Director to gain a full understanding of all aspects of the business. Within an agreed timeframe, they will assume full responsibility for both day‑to‑day operations and the strategic direction of the company.
