The Role
As a
Mortgage Completions Executive
, you will manage the full mortgage completion journey—from approval through to drawdown and release of funds. You will act as the key point of contact for clients during the final and most critical stage of their mortgage process, ensuring all conditions are met accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Working closely with Mortgage Advisors, lenders, solicitors, and internal support teams, you will ensure cases progress seamlessly using our online application system, while delivering a high standard of service and communication at every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
1. Mortgage Completions & Client Experience
* Manage mortgage cases from approval through to full completion and fund drawdown.
* Guide clients clearly through lender conditions, documentation requirements, and timelines.
* Proactively follow up on outstanding items to prevent delays.
* Provide consistent updates and reassurance to deliver an outstanding client experience.
2. Lender Submissions & Case Processing
* Prepare, review, and submit mortgage applications to the lenders.
* Track lender decisions and conditions, responding promptly to additional requirements.
* Maintain clear, detailed case notes and system updates at all times.
3. Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
* Work closely with Mortgage Advisors and Specialists to ensure smooth case handovers.
* Liaise with lenders to clarify conditions, resolve queries, and progress cases efficiently.
* Coordinate with solicitors to ensure all legal requirements for drawdown are met.
* Partner with Mortgage Advisors and Lead Qualification teams to resolve issues early and improve process flow.
4. Compliance, Quality & Process Excellence
* Adhere to internal procedures, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
* Use system workflows and checklists to ensure consistency and accuracy.
* Conduct quality checks on all documentation prior to submission.
* Identify recurring issues or process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement.
5. Pipeline & Progress Management
* Actively manage a pipeline of live completion cases.
* Update case statuses in real time to ensure full visibility across teams.
* Proactively escalate risks or delays and work collaboratively to resolve them.
6. Learning & Continuous Development
* Stay up to date with lender policy changes, products, and compliance updates.
* Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives.
* Share knowledge and best practices to support team performance and growth.
