Due to continued growth, Sonas Nursing Home Group is seeking a proactive and highly organised Maintenance Coordinator to ensure our nursing homes remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained at all times.This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading national provider of residential care for older persons. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating maintenance operations, scheduling planned works, and managing contractors across multiple sites. You'll bring strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest standards in our facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, motivate, and support maintenance staff across multiple sites.Oversee external contractors, ensuring all documentation and health & safety standards are met.Develop and manage maintenance schedules, risk management plans, and communication plans.Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.Manage budgets and monitor contractor performance.Coordinate and track all maintenance and renovation projects to ensure timely completion.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, purchases, and costs.Liaise with the Procurement Officer on equipment, fixtures, fittings, and supplies.Support site managers in developing and implementing annual maintenance plans.Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and compliance.Qualifications & ExperienceRelevant qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Building Trade, or related field (desirable).Minimum 2 years' experience in a building services or maintenance coordination role.Strong knowledge of building systems (heating, electrical, air conditioning, ventilation).Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contractors across multiple locations.Highly organised with excellent time management and communication skills.Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.Why Join Sonas Nursing Home Group?Be part of a values-driven organisation that prioritises teamwork, warmth, and excellence.Work in a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development.Competitive salary and benefits package.Play a vital role in maintaining safe, high-quality care environments for residents.If this is the role for you, apply now
