Job Description: As Head of Risk Containment, you will oversee Rapid Response and Containment functions, leading your team to work closely with key cross-functional stakeholders at TikTok to manage enforcement and containment remediation for identified risks, trends, or leakages.
Your responsibilities include:
Building organizational capabilities, including tools and competencies, to contain risks, mitigate issues, and prevent recurrence.
Managing operations to ensure prompt execution of risk containment activities, especially responses to incidents and crises, and leading process improvements.
Overseeing development of frameworks, automated enforcement, process automations, and tools to enhance response effectiveness and efficiency.
Creating actionable recommendations based on identified gaps or improvements, with clear owners, deadlines, and interdependencies.
Partnering with Legal, T&S Policy, Risk Detection, and other teams to ensure collaboration and situational awareness for community safety.
Minimum Qualifications: Extensive leadership experience in risk containment, crisis response, investigation, incident analysis, or related fields, preferably within tech or online content platforms.
Knowledge of T&S policies, regulations, workflows, and trends, along with understanding of the T&S ecosystem.
Proven experience managing large-scale incidents and cross-functional projects.
Strong analytical skills in risk assessment, pattern recognition, and proactive measures, with knowledge of risk management frameworks and incident response protocols.
Excellent business writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
Ability to establish relationships with stakeholders, resolve escalations, influence strategies, and drive team synergies.
Skills in coaching, talent development, and building specialized teams like Red Teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of risks specific to social media across multiple regions and industries, and understanding of threat trajectories.
Experience leading 24/7 global risk teams, ensuring operational efficiency, quick response, and team well-being.
Exceptional executive communication skills.
