Geomatics Associate – Dublin, Ireland
Geomatics Associate opportunity at Dalcour Maclaren in Dublin, Ireland.
Full-time role engaging with Infrastructure projects across the Republic of Ireland.
Responsibilities
Work closely with GIS, Land Referencing, and Land and Property teams to deliver spatial and property diligence throughout project lifecycle.
Support Ireland Growth lead with tendering and client engagement activities.
Manage all spatial and property diligence deliverables from site/route appraisal to construction.
Provide strategic advice to clients on property diligence matters and associated requirements.
Lead in identifying key data sources, engage suppliers to licence, obtain and set up required environments.
Manage project plans, forecasts, budgets and produce performance reports against KPIs.
Support development of junior staff through line-management, feedback and progress reviews.
Act as a member of the Geomatics Leadership team, building strong client relationships and reporting progress to business plan.
Work from the Dublin office a minimum of three days per week.
Qualifications
Experience with property records and information systems including Tailte Éireann.
Knowledge of land rights and acquisition methods such as negotiation, CPOs, Statutory Property Notices.
Practical GIS experience, preferably in property, utility or energy sector.
Strong knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS software for spatial data capture, management and analysis.
Project management experience with creation and management of project programmes, forecasts, budgets and KPI reporting.
Commercially aware, strong leadership qualities, highly driven, excellent communication skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS or related field (Geography, Surveying, Land Management) with substantial GIS component.
