Shifts: 10-hour day shifts (8am–6pm)

About the Role:
Knockeen Nursing Home is currently seeking a Chef to prepare nutritious, homely meals for our residents. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys cooking in a calm and supportive environment — and wants a better work-life balance than the traditional hospitality industry can offer.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook meals in line with dietary requirements and menu plans
* Maintain hygiene and HACCP standards
* Work closely with the nursing and care team to provide an enjoyable dining experience
* Support kitchen cleanliness and stock rotation
Requirements:
* Experience as a chef or cook, ideally in a healthcare or similar setting
* Knowledge of dietary requirements and safe food handling
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
