ERP Director Strategic Leadership Role Overview We are seeking an experienced ERP Director to lead enterprise-wide ERP strategy and delivery. This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving digital transformation, ensuring governance, and managing large-scale ERP initiatives across multiple regions. Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership Define and execute ERP strategy aligned with long-term business goals. Evaluate and recommend ERP solutions, upgrades, or replacements. Champion ERP-driven digital transformation for efficiency and competitive advantage. Governance & Oversight Establish governance frameworks for ERP usage, compliance, and risk management. Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships. Monitor system performance, scalability, and security. Accountable for BAU and change management processes. Project Leadership Lead enterprise-wide ERP projects (implementations, upgrades, integrations). Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve system challenges. Support business case creation to validate ROI on ERP projects. Ensure resource availability for ERP delivery. Stakeholder Engagement Act as liaison between business leaders and IT teams. Partner with executives to forecast ERP enhancements. Provide thought leadership on ERP trends and best practices. Team Management Build and mentor a high-performing ERP team. Oversee training for end users and technical staff. Foster collaboration to maximise ERP utilisation. Key Skills & Competencies Strategic thinking and business acumen. Leadership and stakeholder management. Financial and contract management expertise. Strong communication and influencing skills. Results-driven with focus on innovation. Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). Knowledge of compliance frameworks (GxP, GDPR, SOX). Expertise in enterprise architecture and process optimisation. Deep understanding of ERP-supported processes (finance, supply chain). Qualifications & Experience 15+ years in ERP management, including leadership roles. Exposure to major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite). 4+ years in a commercial role. Bachelors degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred. Professional ERP certifications (SAP, Oracle Cloud). Familiarity with cloud ERP and digital transformation strategies. Regular travel across Europe & US required.
