Job Summary
This is a key role within the business supporting both strategic and operational HR activities. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and collaborative team with a growing company in the food sector.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with business needs and support organisational growth.
* Support managers with all HR queries, including workforce planning, onboarding, performance management, and retention.
* Lead the performance management cycle, including mid-year reviews, appraisals, and personal development plans.
* Manage employee relations, conduct, grievance handling, and compliance.
* Actively promote employee wellbeing, engagement, and a positive workplace culture.
* Maintain and update all HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook in line with Irish employment legislation.
* Manage the payroll and compensation process.
* Ensure compliance in areas including GDPR, contracts, payroll inputs, and operational HR documentation.
* Use HR systems and workforce data to produce insights and reports for senior management.
Requirements:
* CIPD qualified with a degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
* 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
* An excellent understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
* A proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on HR delivery.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident advising stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience with talent management, succession planning, and organisational development.
* Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
