REPORT TO: Head Chef and in her absence the Manager on
Duty
DEPARTMENT: Kitchen
RESPONSIBILTIES: to report for duty as per your roster and in the correct
uniform, paying attention to personal hygiene and
tidiness as per the company dress code policy
To become au fais with the list of guests/groups in the
hotel from the previous night
To prepare breakfast as per the attached training sheet
To be competent in predicting time that guests require
breakfast in order that breakfast is freshly cooked
To be competent in the preparation and production of
the breakfast to a high standard
To constantly monitor the breakfast buffet and record
temperatures of the buffet hot holding unit
To prepare as per the lists compiled by the previous night chef passover for lunch dinner or functions
To have an ability and experience in light pastry duteis to include brown bread scones and some dessert options.
To be fully au fais with all aspects of the company's
health and safety statement and HACCP procedures
To have the ability to respond properly in any hotel
emergency or safety situation
OCCASIONAL DUTIES: To carry out any other reasonable requests
