PurposeReporting to the Digital MMD Project Lead, specifically responsible for DeltaV Systems. This candidate will be required to work closely with the Digital MMD teams responsible for the full Automation and IT scope and with vendors / partners with responsibility for delivery of DeltaV DCS.ResponsibilitiesSME for DeltaV Hardware implementationWrite User requirements for DeltaV modulesReview and Approve related Design DocumentationPartner with local site project teams to scope changes on the DeltaV systemParticipate in Agile sprint teams for software developmentParticipate in commissioning and qualification activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite commissioning and testingFollow the SDLC Procedure to implement changes (covering RS updates, RTM Change control, Implementation and test)Ensure software is implemented in a safe fashion with quality a necessary output. Educate local project teams on automation standards as they relate to technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments and business processes.Partner with internal Digital departments ensuring standard and secure implementation in line with client StandardsQualificationsBS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree.Training completed in DeltaV standard and batch. 5 or more years of experience in DeltaV application.Proven record of proficiencies associated with business analysis on capital projects.Excellent understanding of cGMP's, SDLC methodologies and LEAN/MPS/ 6 Sigma principles.Excellent facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business problems, develop business cases, and identify appropriate process and technological solutions is essential.Proven ability to work in cross functional teams.This is a site based role. The successful candidate may sometimes be required to attend meetings at Vendor premises or other sites as required. Desired: Experience commissioning DeltaV systems in GMP manufacturing facilities
