About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Leadership Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on the delivery of high-quality psychological therapies.
About the Department
The Psychological Therapies Department is responsible for providing specialist clinical assessment and evidence-based psychological interventions to clients experiencing significant psychological distress.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the development, implementation, and review of multi-disciplinary psychological therapy pathways
* Active involvement in the development and implementation of strategies and policies as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
* Responsible for the development and implementation of business plans and key performance indicators for the department
* Appraise and pilot new initiatives to meet the changing needs of the client group and current best practice
Clinical Governance
* Take a lead role in coordinating, planning, and delivering specialist psychological services to the client group
* Enhance the psychological skills of staff in dealing with psychological distress
* Deliver highly specialist psychological interventions for clients experiencing significant psychological distress
Person Specification
We are looking for an individual who possesses:
* A Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology or equivalent
* Post-doctoral training in CBT/Psychology or equivalent in clinical practice
* Current registration with HCPC or accreditation with BABCP as a CBT Therapist
In addition, ideal candidates will have experience in line management responsibilities, clinical supervision of psychological practitioners, and active participation in quality and service improvement initiatives.
