Role Purpose
To support the centralised HR team in delivering best‑practice HR services across the organisation, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and day‑to‑day HR support.
Core Responsibilities
* Recruitment & Onboarding – source and attract talent; manage a seamless onboarding and induction process; collaborate with local and central colleagues to drive retention and succession.
* Employee Relations – provide proactive, practical advice on ER matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR policies; maintain a positive work environment.
* HR Service Delivery – deliver accurate, timely day‑to‑day HR support to managers and staff, update HRIS, create documentation, share best practices.
* Project & Process Work – contribute to cross‑functional projects and initiatives that enhance HR capabilities.
Person Specification – Technical Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a busy HR team, in either a specialist or generalist role (essential).
* QQI Level 7 qualification in HR or an equivalent discipline (essential).
* CIPD qualification or advanced study towards it (essential).
* Strong communication, influencing and persuasion skills; able to achieve consensus in challenging situations.
* Proven people‑management experience, including coaching, mentoring and performance management.

* Team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
* Strong networking and relationship‑building abilities.
* Effective in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities.
* Experience in the not‑for‑profit sector is desirable.
