Role Overview
This role is central to expanding Workflow’s B2B footprint. You will drive sales of specialty coffee equipment (e.g., Übermilk One, Markibar Izaga grinders, Cinoart tools), lead installations, and provide hands-on consulting to improve clients’ operational efficiency. The position requires a unique blend of technical mastery, sales acumen, and problem-solving agility. Early morning starts are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* B2B Sales & Consultative Solutions
o Prospect and onboard new clients (coffeeshops, cafés, offices, hotels) through tailored equipment and workflow solutions.
o Conduct site audits to identify efficiency gaps and recommend Workflow products/services.
o Achieve sales targets for equipment, maintenance contracts, and consumables
* Technical Operations
o Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced coffee equipment nationwide, including early-morning deployments.
o Train clients on equipment use, maintenance, and workflow optimisation (e.g., tamping consistency, milk system efficiency).
o Provide rapid on-site technical support to minimize downtime for clients.
* Client Success & Retention
o Act as the primary post-sale contact, ensuring seamless adoption of Workflow solutions.
o Deliver follow-up training and process reviews to maximize client ROI.
o Identify upselling opportunities through proactive account management.
* Market Intelligence
o Report client feedback to guide Workflow’s product development and service improvements.
o Stay updated on industry trends (e.g., automation, sustainable workflows) to position Workflow as a thought leader.
Person Specification
* Essential
o 3+ years in specialty coffee technical roles (e.g., equipment technician, barista trainer) and/or B2B sales.
o Expertise in installing/troubleshooting commercial coffee equipment (grinders, milk systems, brewers).
o Proven ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
o Full, clean driver’s license + over 25 years old (insurance compliance).
o Flexibility for nationwide travel, including early starts (5–6 AM installations).
* Desirable
o SCA Coffee Technician/Barista certification.
o Experience in process optimisation or hospitality consulting.
o Familiarity with Workflow’s product range (e.g., Übermilk One, Markibar grinders).
