Finance Director (12-Month Maternity Cover) – Dublin City Centre (Hybrid, 2 days in office).
Our client, an international business in the consumer health sector, is seeking an Interim Finance Director to cover a 12-month maternity leave. This is a hands-on role with direct board exposure, offering the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making and oversee fundraising, compliance, and financial leadership during a pivotal stage of expansion.
Package includes 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension contributions, private medical cover, flexible hybrid working, and a completion bonus.
Your Role
* Lead and mentor a finance team of three, supporting their development across FP&A, treasury, and VAT.
* Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
* Manage forecasting, financial modelling, and analysis, providing insight and challenge to senior leadership to support decision-making.
* Take ownership of treasury and cash flow management.
* Lead on upcoming fundraising activities, including investor due diligence, financial planning, and board reporting.
* Oversee VAT and tax compliance across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
* Support the implementation of a new ERP system.
Your Skills
* Qualified accountant with proven experience as a Finance Director, CFO, or senior finance leader in a high-growth or scale-up environment.
* Strong skills in FP&A and financial modelling, with advanced proficiency in Google Sheets.
* Track record of leading fundraising processes and managing investor relations.
* Board-level experience with strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
* Knowledge of VAT and international tax in multi-entity structures.
* Background in e-commerce, consumer, or regulated industries advantageous.
