What You Will Do
Our Technology Solutions Group is a dynamic, fast-paced environment with exciting changes on the horizon under new leadership. We are looking for you to support and develop scalable applications for our Front Office stakeholders.
As a Lead Analyst in Front Office, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building products that deliver value and viability for our Fixed Income stakeholders. You will be responsible for the product's success from conception to execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve customer problems aligned with business outcomes. You will partner with various functions to understand requirements and deliver solutions that are valuable, viable, usable, and feasible. Additionally, you will provide Level 3 support for production incidents and learning opportunities.
This position is hybrid, based in Letterkenny, Ireland, with remote work options.
What You Can Expect
* Taking ownership of product initiatives, working with delivery teams to understand requirements, analyze, design, implement, test, and support solutions in production.
* Collaborating to build fixed income data products, ensuring development follows modern coding practices and standards.
* Developing high-quality, well-documented business requirements following company standards.
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders and teams to gather requirements and define business outcomes.
* Working with technical leads on system design and understanding end-to-end architecture.
* Leading backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning with the delivery team.
* Resolving production incidents and service requests promptly.
* Creating and executing testing plans, including automation, to ensure quality.
* Utilizing SQL skills for data analysis, understanding business logic, and documenting data flows.
* Proactively identifying obstacles and issues that may impact delivery.
What You Will Bring
* 8+ years in a technology role, such as software engineering, BSA/QA, or application support.
* Excellent communication skills to translate technical information for various audiences.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and business judgment skills.
* Interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
* Negotiation and persuasion abilities in complex situations.
* Resourcefulness in resolving diverse business problems.
* Data evaluation and mapping skills, with experience in database queries and APIs.
* Knowledge of Fixed Income Asset Management environments is a plus.
* Team-oriented with a willingness to learn new skills and methods.
* Experience with SQL (MS SQL preferred) and documentation skills.
