Job Summary:
* Familiarize with Health and Safety Legislation affecting construction work.
* Identify hazards and assess risks on site.
* Communicate Health and Safety requirements to managers, supervisors, and workers.
Duties on Site:
* Conduct weekly site inspections.
* Monitor contractors from appointment through training and supervision.
* Risk assessments for all aspects of work, requiring constant monitoring, supervision, updating, and implementation.
* Review systems onsite for traffic management, lifting operations, working near overhead/underground services, etc.
Candidate Requirements:
* Comprehensive knowledge of hazards and control measures.
* Knowledge of construction and general health and safety management systems (ISO 45001:2018).
* Computer literacy and necessary IT skills.
* High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
Essential Requirements:
* A Level 7 Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (National Framework of Qualifications).
* No less than 3 years of satisfactory experience in construction work, site management, and design process.
* Current Safe Pass Card and Valid driving license.
* Use of own transport.
