Key Responsibilities:
Management of the design and development, and verification of complex assemblies and packaging.
Carry out relevant research and proof-of-concept testing to determine design feasibility.
Initiate process improvements to contribute to performance, quality and cost efficiency.
Lead risk assessments for product and manufacturing processes.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions based on failure investigations.
Oversee recruitment, performance management, and development of direct reports.
Key Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree minimum in an engineering related discipline.
6+ years' of experience in MedTech ISO13485 regulated environments, within Product Development/R&D Engineering/Design & Development Engineering.
3+ years experience leading mechanical design project teams.
Skilled in Design for Six Sigma (DFFS), statistical analysis, and DOE methodologies.
