HR Generalist Opportunity at a Rapidly Growing Engineering Firm
Our client is a dynamic engineering company experiencing rapid expansion by securing major infrastructure projects. To support their next phase of growth, they are seeking to hire a skilled HR Generalist to join their team.
This is an exciting role that offers the opportunity to utilize a broad range of HR skills across multiple jurisdictions. As a HR Generalist, you will be responsible for supporting the business by delivering both strategic and operational HR services. Working in a small HR team, you will have the chance to gain valuable experience and develop your niche within our fast-paced business.
This office is 5 days onsite in our Head Office in Ballymount, Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain confidentiality and integrity with sensitive personal data while managing the HR mailbox/ticketing system for efficient query resolution. Provide employee support via phone and email, escalating issues as needed. Create employee profiles and handle pre-onboarding documentation, assist with work permits and candidate relocation, and manage off-boarding processes, including exit interviews and equipment return. Generate and distribute employee contracts and documentation, offering practical HR advice and escalating issues when necessary. Maintain HR systems, provide user guidance, and ensure timely payroll and process completion.
Requirements
* 3rd Level HR or related Business Qualification OR CIPD approved qualification.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Experience with HR support for EU jurisdictions is an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
