About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Used Club & Online Operations Assistant to join our warehouse and online team.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing, photographing, and listing used golf clubs, ensuring every item meets McGuirks Golf's high standards before reaching our customers.
You will work closely with the Project Lead and Senior Management, contributing to the smooth running of our Used Club Department and helping us provide an exceptional online and in-store experience.
Key Responsibilities
Used Club Processing
* Carry out the full processing cycle of second-hand golf clubs — from the initial cleaning and inspection to photography, data entry, and final display.
* Accurately receipt and log incoming stock into our system.
* Photograph used clubs to a professional standard for online listings.
* Create detailed, accurate, and appealing product listings on our website.
* Prepare clubs for sale by placing them on the shop floor once processed.
Customer Interaction & Support
* Provide expert advice and information on used clubs to both in-store and online customers.
* Communicate with customers regarding orders and product inquiries via our customer service channels.
* Monitor and manage online orders, ensuring accurate and timely fulfilment.
Quality & Compliance
* Review build specifications of clubs before dispatch to ensure they meet company standards.
* Maintain an organised, clean, and efficient workspace within the Used Club Department.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in golf retail, club fitting, or a related field is an advantage.
* Strong passion for golf products and retail.
* Excellent knowledge of golf equipment and brands.
* Strong computer literacy, with confidence using Excel, Word, and web platforms.
* Experience with photography and/or Photoshop (or willingness to learn).
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent customer service and administrative skills.
