We are seeking an experienced Social Care Worker to join a residential care team supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
This is a hands-on role based in a house near Drogheda, requiring someone highly motivated, reliable, and skilled at providing personalised care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality residential care to individuals with intellectual disabilities
Support daily living activities: personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and community engagement
Facilitate education, skills development, and achievement of personal goals
Communicate effectively and empathetically with individuals with intellectual disabilities
Follow all relevant policies, procedures, regulations, and codes of practice
Candidate Requirements
CORU registration (active) – applications pending will not be considered
Experience in residential care
Full clean Irish driving licence
High standard of English and strong communication skills
Positive attitude, reliability, and passion for supporting others
Based in Louth, preferably near Drogheda
