Key Responsibilities
* Welcome patients and their guardians to the imaging service in a professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
* Escort patients to and from scanning rooms while maintaining confidentiality and respect for patients' privacy.
* Assess patients' medical history and prepare them for scans, adhering to strict infection control procedures.
* Support radiographers with scan setup, patient positioning, and data entry, promoting efficient workflows.
Administrative Duties
* Manage patient records, including consent forms, insurance details, and correspondence, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
* Process and track orders for consumables, supplies, and equipment, optimizing resource allocation.
* Maintain accurate filing systems and records, adhering to health information and quality authority standards, guaranteeing transparency and accountability.
Specialist Skills
* Collaborate with sonographers to assist with ultrasound examinations, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
* Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care and safety.
