A great opportunity for recent graduates or recent entrants to the insurance industry looking for an exciting opportunity with long-term career prospects.The OpportunityReporting to the Head of Claims Management Services, your overall responsibility will be to provide administrative support to Account Handlers and Loss Adjusters, aiding the region's efficiency and productivity in the handling of claims.The RoleYour responsibilities will include:Administration of new claims including receiving instruction, issuing acknowledgments, setting up files and undertaking of risk screening and triagingUndertake general office administrative duties in accordance with company standards as required, such as diary management, booking appointments, allocating post to files, scanning documents, photocopying and filing, stationary orders and bankingIncoming telephone calls / resolve queriesProvide technical claims handling supportUndertake non-complex fee earning case work, where appropriateAppoint and liaise with Loss Adjusters to proactively support the case management of claims from initial set-up to conclusionLiaise with the insured, insurers, brokers and any other stakeholders, to ensure optimum service levels and to become a point of contact, where neededFormat and issue technical reports in compliance with professional standards and internal guidelines and in accordance with agreed timescalesDeal with internal and external queries in a professional manner and accurately record conversations/messagesEnsure compliance with financial procedures, such as the invoicing processEnsure data is accurately input in order to achieve high standards of data quality and management informationRun, check, analyse and distribute various management information reportsAssist with the preparation of client and business presentationsAttend client review meetings as requiredParticipate and contribute to projects as requiredOther ad hoc duties as requiredEssentialAbout you - Knowledge and Experience:Some administration skills, with previous experience in administrative and/or support rolesHighly organised, with the ability to multi-task and self-manage a varied workload with changing prioritiesA strong team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to deal professionally at all times with clients, policyholders and third partiesStrong working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointDesirableSpecific sector administration experience would be advantageousAPA / CIP qualifications would be advantageous but are not essentialAdvanced Excel skillsThe role comes with a competitive salary and excellent employee benefits.
