Job Title: Site Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee daily operations on various construction projects in the region.
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of site operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and the building programme.
* Maintain a clean and organized site, managing logistics effectively and enforcing health and safety regulations in compliance with Irish legislation.
* Report progress, issues, and delays to senior management or assigned certifier as required.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, organisation, and communication. The successful candidate will work closely with the design team and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct inductions, daily toolbox talks, and safety briefings, maintaining site H&S files and liaising with external safety auditors.
2. Perform quality control checks to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* At least 5+ years experience in a foreman or similar supervisory role on various construction sites/projects.
* Trade background preferred (e.g., carpentry, bricklaying, etc.).
* Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
* Current CIF Supervisor Safety Awareness training (or willingness to obtain).
* Experience with Irish Building Regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
