Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Dublin for an Accountant who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of audit exempt companies, partnerships and soletraders to include the preparation of financial statements, corporation tax, income tax and company secretarial returns.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Client Management:
Responsible for a portfolio of clients, managing ongoing queries via email, phone, and meetings.
* Accounts Preparation:
Preparing statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
* Taxation:
Calculating and submitting corporation tax, income tax, and VAT returns.
* Advisory Services:
Advising clients on business structures, financial performance, and tax planning.
* Management accounting and bookkeeping services:
Utilizing accounting software (e.g., Bright Books, Sage, Xero) to maintain accurate accounting records and preparation of monthly management accounts for a portfolio of clients.
* Company Secretarial Services:
Maintenance of company secretarial records for a portfolio of client including maintaining company registers, preparation of annual returns, preparation of minutes and resolutions, updating Companies Registration Office and Register of Beneficial Ownerships
Qualifications
* Professional qualifications such as ACA, or ACCA with at least 5 years post qualification experience
* Knowledge of Financial Reporting and taxation
* Proficiency in Accounting and Taxation Software and Tools
* Strong Analytical and Problem-solving abilities
* Excellent English Written and Verbal Communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
