My client is a leading Building Contractor in Ireland who have a great reputation and a proven track record of delivering projects across Ireland. Due to their ongoing success, they are seeking a Senior EHS Advisor to join their team in Galway.
Duties:
* Implementing and monitoring site-specific Health & Safety plans.
* Keeping detailed records of inspection results and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
* Organising, attending, and chairing safety meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment on safety practices.
* Providing ongoing Health & Safety training and support to staff and subcontractors.
* Reporting and investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring appropriate follow-up and preventative measures.
* Maintaining accurate records of all safety documentation, inspections, and audits.
Requirements:
* An accredited degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
* Previous experience as a Health & Safety Officer in the construction industry, preferably with a Main Contractor on residential developments.
* Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety regulations.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience required
