Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly organised and professional HR/ H&S Administrator to support the Human Resources, Health & Safety, and Training functions. This role also includes front-desk reception duties and general office support in a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
* Manage incoming and outgoing calls (external and internal)
* Greet visitors and manage access and sign-in procedures
* Handle post and deliveries
* Maintain the reception area in accordance with standards
* Issue company dress items and maintain relevant records
HR / H&S / Training Administration:
* Maintain accurate filing and document control systems (manual and digital)
* Scan and archive employee documents
* Support employee communication (emails, notices, letters)
* Manage administrative tasks such as form processing, purchase order creation, and canteen resource monitoring
Recruitment Support:
* Assist with screening CVs and application forms
* Schedule aptitude tests, interviews, and pre-employment medicals
* Coordinate communication with candidates and hiring managers
* Employee Relations:
* Respond to employee queries professionally and confidentially
* Support positive communication and workplace relations initiatives
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential:
* 23 years of generalist HR experience
* Strong reception and administration skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* ECDL certification or equivalent
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
Desirable:
* Recruitment administration experience
* Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or similar environment
