About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our project in Limerick. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct your work in a safe manner, taking responsibility to ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
* Implement quality control procedures and project specific procedures to ensure high-quality work.
* Ensure setting-out information is relevant and easily communicated on site.
* Develop professional working relationships with colleagues and Design Teams.
* Review detailed design, critique, and communicate with designers to ensure adequate construction information.
* Coordinate design development from designer's details to approved workshop drawings or technical information from subcontractors.
You will be responsible for reading and interpreting drawings for layouts, materials, and measurements, as well as managing subcontractors and the general workforce on site. Planning works efficiently to ensure program targets are achieved, ordering and controlling materials on site, maintaining site records, and discussing meetings with designers and subcontractors.
Requirements
* A third-level degree in Engineering
* A minimum of 5 years' experience as a site engineer
* Experience working with main contractors, surveying firms, or similar
* Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations
* Excellent communication skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
