Job Summary
The Senior Accounting Analyst will lead key local and international accounting functions and support other corporate and legal entity accounting. The Senior Accounting Analyst will be responsible for ensuring complete and accurate financial accounting records for certain accounts within our legal entity, consolidated reporting, and certain business segments. This includes performing daily accounting functions, monthly close processes, and reconciliations of accounts as well as supporting a system of internal control over financial reporting. This role ensures predictability, accuracy, and compliance with US GAAP and local statutory standards. Additionally, the Senior Accounting Analyst will assist in preparation of statutory financial statements. Success in this role requires cross‑functional collaboration, strong verbal and written presentation skills, and the ability to mentor and develop internal talent.
This is an in‑office role that will collaborate with the Finance leader in Ireland and the Accounting teams across the globe.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Accounting & Compliance: Support corporate accounting operations for our local and international functions, including statutory and US GAAP requirements, as well as intercompany and other corporate functions. Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and other close related items for key accounting areas, including revenue, fixed assets, internal labor capitalization, accounts payable, accruals, and payroll, among others.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement: Partner with Finance, IT, and Operations to calculate and support key accounting and reporting requirements, including local tax credits, internal labor capitalization, and others. Contribute to design of accounting data model and system improvements.
Leadership & Development: Champion accounting processes and business partner with organization to promote understanding of related functions. Exhibit strong desire to learn and grow within the Company.
Statutory Reporting: Support preparation of statutory financial statements and local audits.
Skills And Minimum Experience Required
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent, Master in Accounting preferred.
CPA, CMA or similar local certification required.
2+ years of accounting analyst and/or auditing experience required, including relevant management experience.
Demonstrated strong ability to assess key operational and financial risk areas, identify and implement process improvements.
Demonstrated ability to be hands‑on and dig into the root causes, identify opportunities, suggest solutions and execute.
Understanding of accounting systems.
Demonstrated ability to build a positive rapport with team members throughout a global organization.
Exhibit a positive attitude, confidence, and poise under pressure.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to travel 10–20% domestically/internationally.
Spanish and/or French language skills are a plus.
Preferred experience with Oracle and Onestream or similar systems.
