That means we put our artists at the heart of everything we doWe are looking for a CG Asset Lead to join our team here at our Dublin studio. The successful candidate will lead the planning and building of the assets on the designated project.This is a Fixed-Term, 12-Month contract based in Dublin.Please note that our studio operates on a hybrid model, with two days per week required in the studio.The successful candidate must have the right to work in Ireland for the duration of the contract.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the development of CG assets for the project, actively contributing hands-on within the studio's asset build pipeline. This includes practical asset creation and optimisation using Maya and Unreal Engine.Ensure assets are optimised for animation phases in terms of scene handling and performance.Collaborate with CG Supervisor and Production Management to organise, plan & implement the asset build phase.Lead the CG teams to troubleshoot issues with the project's assets Internally, and with external production companies.Provide technical support on assets for Art Director and other team members when required.Create and approve technical 'Asset Launch notes' and 'Call-Outs' for assets via Shotgun.Manage technical production 'tickets' for assets.Expected to QC and Publish assets when required.Complete personal weekly work queue of asset builds tasks.Key RequirementsKnowledge:Expert in cg asset build pipelines across disciplines.Can troubleshoot technical aspects of CG asset build.Experience:Have previously been a Lead or similar experience supervising assets on a long format VFX or animation project or feature film.Experience in CG asset creation and cg shot production.Technical Skills:Strong technical understanding of CG animation software, e.g. Unreal Engine and Autodesk Maya, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Z-brush, and Houdini.Working knowledge of 'RV' media player.Ability to use Autodesk's Shotgrid effectively in production.Salary53, ,400.00
