We have an exciting opportunity for aCommercial Administratorto join our expanding Commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity that will afford you career progression opportunities as you learn on the job.It's an office-based role (with occasional site visits), assisting the Commercial team (Quantity Surveyors & Estimators) with the day-to-day commercial administration of mechanical services projects from contract award through to final account.Key responsibilities include:Assisting with the preparation of monthly valuations and commercial / financial reports.Maintaining variation, cost and change order logs.Collating backup documentation for claims and variations.Assisting with subcontractor and supplier payment administration.Supporting the preparation of cost reports, reconciliations and final accounts.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date commercial records and filing systems.Dealing with clients & contractors in a professional manner.Desired CriteriaPrevious experience in the construction industry or an accounts / finance–based role.Knowledge of a mechanical contracting, M&E or construction environment would be advantageous.Certificate or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Accounting, Business or similar.Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.A motivated and dependable individual with a willingness to learn.Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.Full drivers' licence is advantageous.BenefitsCompetitive Remuneration PackageRegular Staff OutingsDiscounted Gym MembershipOpportunities for Learning and Development for Career ProgressionFree On-site ParkingFlexitimeEmployee Assistance Programme
