This is a permanent, fully onsite role.Objectives of PositionLead and manage a team comprising of different Engineers and Technicians within the Engineering Dept.Develop departmental technical capability, in line with customer needs.Develop the capability and effectiveness of a teamDeliver on goals and targets to meet customer needs and demand requirementsDrive cross functional programs in support on continuous improvements in quality, delivery and cost.Be an active contributor to plant wide projectsTake part and lead as required Projects and new installations.Support Plant in delivering on customers demand and new productsDevelop succession, training and yearly goals and plans for direct reportsSupport and lead corporate initiatives as required
ResponsibilitiesManufacturing, Test, Automation and Preventative Maintenance as requiredDeliver on plant goals and customer needsSupport and lead new product projects as requiredSet Direction, and Goals for a diverse teamDevelop skills and competences to enable the department to support customer expectations.Ensure all new and existing processes are designed to comply with industry standards and H&S regulations.

Personnel SpecificationsEssentialDegree in Engineering (Level 8)Very strong management and leadership capabilities.Minimum of 8 years experience in a similar role within a medium/high volume multinational manufacturing organization.
DesirableStrong technical process knowledgeTeamwork and stakeholder managementExcellent problem solving capabilitiesExcellent communication and influencing skills, both business and personal.Ability to manage and improve the performance of a diverse team.Strong leadership capabilities.High degree of initiative and self accountability towards the achievement of objectives
