A new vacancy for a Validation Engineer is now open at our Blarney site.
The Role
Reporting to the Quality Manager - Validation / Validation Supervisor, the Validation Engineer is responsible for designing and executing validation projects and strategies to support the implementation of Validation Master Plans and Qualification programmes.
The Validation Engineer works as part of a cross-functional team to deliver continuous improvements and exceed customer expectations, leading and supporting validation activities to ensure the delivery of effective and well-documented qualification programmes.
Activities include:
1. Executing and completing process, systems, and equipment validations in accordance with Validation Master Plans, company policies, and project schedules.
2. Preparing, executing, and completing Validation Protocols and Reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant Quality standards and Regulatory requirements.
3. Participating in cross-functional teams to establish validation strategies and objectives supporting process and equipment changes.
4. Ensuring all departments understand and comply with validation requirements, providing training as necessary.
5. Maintaining current knowledge of validation requirements in compliance with applicable regulations and guidance documents, and updating management and teams accordingly.
6. Reviewing validation practices and trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and completing related projects.
7. Monitoring validation project progress to ensure adherence to schedules and providing stakeholder updates.
8. Investigating Quality and Validation issues using Root Cause Analysis and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
9. Leading risk mitigation initiatives such as FMEA and Risk Assessments.
10. Adhering to all company EHS guidelines and Quality procedures.
11. Performing other duties as required.
Who You Are
- B.Sc. in Science/Quality Assurance discipline or equivalent.
- Thorough, practical, and persistent self-starter with strong motivation.
- Good verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, including technical report writing.
- Demonstrated success working in a team environment.
- Effective time-management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Good problem-solving skills.
