As part of our exciting growth journey, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Association Sales to join our team.
This Head of Department-level role is pivotal in driving the performance of the Association Sales Team, building a strong and qualified sales pipeline, and delivering both individual and team revenue targets.
Working in close partnership with the Head of Corporate Sales, the successful candidate will also deputise for the Sales Director when required, contributing to strategic direction and departmental leadership.
Key Objective Lead the CCD Association sales team in the day-to-day delivery of sales performance, driving the achievement of rental and ancillary revenue targets set by the Sales Director.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to meet individual and team sales goals, while identifying and developing new business opportunities in line with the companys strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Association Sales Team, ensuring achievement of rental and ancillary revenue targets.
Support the Sales Director in strategic planning, budgeting, recruitment, and identifying new market opportunities.
Build, manage, and grow strong client and partner relationships locally and internationally to drive long-term business.
Prepare compelling sales presentations and proposals that clearly communicate The CCDs value proposition.
Manage the full client lifecyclefrom acquisition through to post-event follow-upensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term growth.
Negotiate contracts and ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Plan and execute individual sales activities to meet individual and team KPIs and revenue goals.
Mentor, coach, and manage team members to support their development and ensure delivery against agreed KPIs.
Ensure effective use of Momentus for diary management, yield optimisation, and reporting.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless event solutions and drive profitable growth.
Develop and deliver regular business reports and insights to senior leadership.
Ensure full compliance with The CCDs Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and quality standards.
Undertake additional duties or projects as reasonably requested by the Sales Director.
Person Specification Proven experience in an Association market, client-focused sales role.
Demonstrated leadership and line management experience, including coaching and mentoring a sales team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
A data driven mindset, with the ability to harness insight to inform decisions Strong proficiency across all stages of the sales process, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
