Reporting Structure:

The Head of Operations will report directly to the General Manager and collaborate closely with senior management and operational teams to enhance the visitor experience and uphold the organization's commitment to excellence.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Oversee the operational and health & safety aspects of the visitor experience, including visitor and capacity management. Ensure that the key objectives of the organisation are met by managing workloads and maximising resource use.

Team Management:
">
Lead the Operations Management Team and staff, ensuring a world-class visitor experience while promoting a workplace culture built on trust and respect.
">
Operational Planning:
">
Plan operations in advance and manage visitor capacity, developing and launching new products and services in coordination with the Marketing Department.
">
Financial Management:
">
Manage the operational budget, overseeing site and facilities standards to ensure a world-class visitor experience.
">
Communication:
">
Provide operational reporting as required to the General Manager and maintain a visible and active presence across sites, fostering strong employee relations and open communication.

Requirements:

1. A proven track record in operational health & safety management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
">
2. A diploma or degree in tourism, visitor management, or a related discipline.
">
3. Strong problem-solving skills and a flexible approach, with the ability to enforce standards, policies, and procedures effectively.

4. Exceptional attention to detail, with the capacity to perform under pressure.
">
5. Ability to maintain the confidentiality and security of visitor and company information.

6. Additional requirements include a full, clean driving licence and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure an exceptional visitor experience.
